TM Statuses

Table of Contents
  • Translated (T)
  • Reviewed (R)
  • Client TM (C)
  • Term Base Features

In the TMS there are many statuses for the translated words inside the TM such as:

Translated (T) #

The translator can override the T status but cannot override the R status that stands for Reviewed by default.

Reviewed (R) #

The R status can override the T status and the other R statuses.

Client TM (C) #

While it is possible to attach more than a TM to the project, there is a priority for one TM over the other TMs which is the Client TM.

Its translation has the priority over the other TMs as it is displayed as the first one.

For the translator when he/she has many translations, should select the marked as C that is derived into the client TM.

Term Base Features #

When you select a segment in the target section, you may find a word with a red sign above it. This means that this word has an equivalent in the Term Base.

If you double click this word in the Term Base, it will be displayed in the source section as illustrated in the following screen shot.

The << i >> icon  in the Term Base panel indicates information.

By clicking it a pop-up window is displayed where you can find information about the term including an explanation of this term and the name of the terminology it is derived of .
