In the TMS there are many types of segments statuses in the different phases as follows:
Translation Phase #
In the translation phase the segments can have one of the following statuses:
New #
The first status of the segment when no action is done on it.

Draft #
When you edit the segment, its status is turned to draft.

Translated #
When you confirm the segment, its status is from from draft to confirmed translation.

When a translator translates a segment and presses CTRL + Enter, it displays with the following icon as translated, which reflects the completion status.
This is a way for the PM to track the progress of the translators while they are working in the files. Completed segments area is colored in orange.

The Revision Phase #
In the revision phase the segments can have one of the following statuses:
When the translator finishes the translation, he/she submits it to the next phase. Then the segments become not editable for the translator.
For the next phase the editor can work on reviewing the translation. Submitted segments area is colored in green

Translation Approved #
When the editor reviews the submitted segment, its status is changed to translation approved.

Note:
The text “CMT” that is displayed in the above screen shot means that this segment has a context match as the segments before and after it are matching 100% with that in the TM.

Note:
Here the text “AT” that is displayed in the screen shot means that this segment has an automatic translation which is 100% matching.
The Proofreading Phase #
In the proof-reading phase, the segments status changes as follows:
Signed Off #
When the proofreader finishes his revision, the segments reach their final phase and their status is changed to approved or signed off.
